Those who have successfully pre-ordered the Xbox Series X or have resorted to the Xbox Series S as an alternative will be able to start next-generation gaming with 10 launch titles from November 30th. Microsoft has announced the full list of games optimized for the new Xbox consoles.
In addition to the "real" next-gen titles, which will only be released for the next-gen consoles, fans can access numerous games that have already been released but are optimized for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. "Smart Delivery" is what Microsoft calls the system through which games are supposed to deliver the best possible performance on the best system. At the launch of the Xbox Series X|S, fans can get started with 30 titles, two-thirds of which are games that support Smart Delivery.

Among the 30 launch titles there are many "old acquaintances", but also some games that will only come onto the market then. These include games like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. There are also games like Gears: Tactics or Tetris Effect: Connected.
20 of the 30 new titles for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S support Microsoft's Smart Delivery and are automatically updated to their best possible version for the new console. Anyone who has already played games, for example on the Xbox One X, can simply take their game status with them and do not have to restart the game.

"For example, if you've already played Gears Tactics on Xbox One, you'll automatically continue your save on Xbox Series X with optimized performance whenever you upgrade to the new Xbox," Microsoft said. In addition to the new titles optimized for Xbox Series X|S, players will also have access to numerous backward compatible titles across four generations of Xbox.
