The Xbox Game Pass seems to be just getting started this year. May also has some highlights that gaming fans can look forward to. Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is just one of several high-profile titles that are making the leap into Microsoft's games library.
The Xbox Game Pass is a real success model for Microsoft Xbox, but also for the fans. For a fixed monthly price, gamers can play as much as they want and even have access to AAA titles. The core of the idea is the release of first-party games directly upon release - such as Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, which will be available from May 21st.
This month brings many new features to Xbox Game Pass
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is now available (cloud, console and PC) and is one of the coolest games of the past few months. However, the Xbox Games Pass has a lot more to offer in May. Microsoft recently published the schedule for the month of May - and it's impressive:
- May 15 – Chant of Sennaar (Cloud, Console and PC)
- May 16 – EA Sports NHL 24 (Cloud) EA Play
- May 16 – Immortals of Aveum (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S) EA Play
- May 21 – Senua's Saga: Hellblade II (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S)
- May 23 – galacticare (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S)
- May 23 – hauntii (Cloud, Console and PC)
- May 28 – moving out 2 (Cloud, Console and PC)
- May 30 – Humanity (Cloud, Console and PC)
- May 30 – Lords of the traps (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X|S)
- June 04 - Firework (PC)
- June 04 - Rolling hills (Cloud, Console and PC)
Otherwise, the game pass is packed with smaller goodies, but also important updates or DLCs. Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns is available, for example. Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns combines roguelike elements with Konami's popular Contra series and a whole arsenal of weapons (22 to be exact, including even more powerful evolutions). There are also eleven new characters, a huge map and a soundtrack in which classic Contra tracks meet Vampire Survivors covers.
Starting May 15, Minecraft will look back on 15 years of exciting adventures and breathtaking creations. Whether you've been building since the alpha version or joined later, you've left your mark with every block you've placed.
In any case, fans should remember the 15th of the month: May 15th marks the release of the biggest update for Starfield since the game's release! The May update includes more detailed maps, new options for adjusting the difficulty level and display, new customization options for the spaceships and much more.
Where new things come, old things have to go: this also applies to the Xbox Game Pass in May. The following games will soon be leaving the Game Pass library:
- Chicory: A Colorful Tale (Cloud, Console and PC)
- Farworld Pioneers (Cloud, Console and PC)
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R (Cloud, Console and PC)
- Pac-man Museum+ (Cloud, Console and PC)
- Little Witch in the Woods (Cloud, Console and PC)
- Railway Empire 2 (Cloud, Console and PC)
There's another treat for fans of Naraka: Bladepoint. The new perk bundle contains exclusive Xbox headgear, treasures for the new season, an exceptional skin sample pack and much more. There's also a kickstart in the form of the new experience boost cards.
