In January, many new titles are coming to the Xbox Game Pass for consoles and PC: In addition to new games, there are also many new features, achievements and quests waiting for active console players. There are several well-known new additions to the games, but also features and quests that allow players to increase their reward points. The new games will start on January 9th.

New games in Xbox Game Pass starting January 9th
Game Pass Month January continues with the releases of Frostpunkt and Sword Art Online. Frostpunk is a construction simulation with survival elements, in which warmth means life and every decision has its price. As the leader of the last civilized society on earth, players have an all-important task: to guide the inhabitants of a city and prepare them for a life in an icy, harsh wasteland.
In Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, on the other hand, players are protagonists of a new story and meet old and new faces from the Sword Art Online universe. The game is about weapons, skills and plenty of action.

As if that weren't enough, another new game is coming to Xbox Game Pass: Tekken 7. A realistic 3D combat system, cool fighters and an exciting background story make the Beat'em Up a worthwhile console game.
With new games come new quests, which Microsoft has also listed directly:
- New Year, Try a New Game: Get any achievement from the New Year, Try a New Game Collection and get 200 points.
- The Witcher 3: Earn any two achievements in The Witcher 3 and get 200 points.
- Minecraft: Earn any two achievements in Minecraft and get 200 points.
- ID @ Xbox: Earn any three achievements in the ID @ Xbox games and get 300 points.
- Play Something New: Earn an achievement in one of the new Xbox Game Pass games and get 100 points.
- Games on PC: Earn an achievement on the PC and get 100 points.
There are not only entries in the Game Pass every month, but also exits that urge players to try their hand at achievements that are still open. Two games will go out of subscription in January: Lego City Undercover and Just Cause 3.
