2K announced details of the 2K Showcase “Never Give Up” for WWE 2K23, in which players will experience an interactive sports documentary that recreates defining moments in Superstar John Cena's 20-year WWE career.

Never Give Up brings a breath of fresh air to the 2K Showcase with iconic battles and gameplay innovations:
- John Cena's worst defeats: Fans can meet John Cena at every stage of his career - from the unknown youngster challenging Kurt Angle on SmackDown 2002 to SummerSlam 2021 when Cena takes on the "Head of the Table", WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, as well as many moments in between.
- An interactive sports documentary: In interspersed vignette sequences, “Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect” himself and explains the story and meaning of each encounter.
