WWE 2K22: Gameplay - more than nine minutes!

2K shows minutes of gameplay from WWE 2K22. The publisher is now running the marketing machine at full speed: there is only a little more than a month left before fans can lend a hand with the wrestling reboot. The new video gives a good impression of what players can expect.

2K today released the first-ever WWE 2K22 Ringside Report - a video series providing insights into game elements, gameplay mechanics and more. The Ringside Report 1 video uses WWE 2K22 gameplay to showcase some of the new additions that make the series even more powerful.

The Visual Concepts team shows:

• New dynamic animations of both superstars in the ring, made possible by the newly programmed gameplay engine. Superstars are easier and more direct to control, and their movements blend more smoothly and precisely.
• The revamped lighting engine that brings out all the details of the Superstars and makes them look more realistic than ever.
• Improved object physics that create unexpected moments in the match. Kendo sticks splinter, tables and corner barricades dynamically collapse, making the match experience even more authentic.
• Strategic defensive commands like block, dodge and breaker.
