Starting with an extensive tutorial, you are thrown straight into “Holt”, located high in the clouds. This serves as a basis and can be used to make sensible use of collected resources. From there you immediately have several exciting options to choose from.
Adventurous players can explore with Sunna, one of the game's main characters. But there is also a lot to do in Trasir's workshop. Blueprints can be created here and multi-faceted buildings can then be built for the base.

During his adventures, the player always has to face new challenges, as each of the nine realms that represent the respective levels require different skills and abilities in order to be traversed. This is where the roguelike character of the game comes into play. If you don't complete one of the levels, you have no chance of simply repeating it. According to the developers, nothing stands in the way of the release of Roots of Yggdrasil. The game is scheduled to appear on Steam on January 24th next year and, among other things, Include new characters and buildings.
