After the Welcome to Flip & Write trilogy (Welcome to, Welcome to the Moon and Welcome to new Las Vegas). Pegasus Spiele recently released the Welcome to your perfect Home Big Box. It contains the revised Welcome to basic game as well as new expansion game boards with and without new rules.
The basic principle of the Welcome to series is simple: In each round, three card combinations consisting of a number and a symbol or action are revealed. Now everyone decides on a combination: The number must be entered on their own board, the action can or does not have to be used. Apart from that, however, all three games in the series are fundamentally different and each game board has its own rules for entering the numbers and the functions of the actions.
beginning in the fifties
The first part, the family game Welcome to (your perfect Home), takes players to the USA in the 1950s. As architects aged ten and over, they take on the role of construction managers who are tasked with building a new residential area. While the basic game includes an area plan, the Big Box also includes ten new game boards and seven newly designed versions of the classic game board.
All game boards are now wipeable, so that up to six people can play. The ten expansion game boards are dedicated to different themes, e.g. Halloween, egg hunt, zombie apocalypse, and also bring new rules into the game. With the exception of the "American Dream" game board, all new boards can be played in the classic game, the advanced and professional versions, and in solo mode. The Welcome to your perfect Home Big Box also contains the revised basic game and is available now at a recommended retail price of 39,99 euros.
The Flip & Write series by Benoit Turpin and Alexis Allard has also already released two connoisseur games, Welcome to the Moon and Welcome to new Las Vegas, both of which are recommended for up to six people aged ten and over. In Welcome to the Moon, players set off on a journey to the moon.
During this, eight different adventures await them, which they can either experience independently of one another or as a campaign. Each game board brings its own challenges and detailed rules for the six possible actions and tells a part of the story. In Welcome to new Las Vegas, however, the players compete to build the most dazzling and lucrative metropolis that attracts the most tourists. In each round, they open a casino by entering the numbers. The actions include shows, limousines, advertising measures and, when the casino rows are full, hotels.
