Total Mayhem Games has unveiled the official We Were Here Forever launch trailer, which features in-game footage of the game for the first time since the announcement. Starting May 10th, players will be able to experience the We Were Here Forever story for themselves on PC (Steam and Epic Game Store).

Only a few more days until players can enter Castle Rock again! We Were Here Forever is an asymmetric co-op puzzler releasing May 10th on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and coming soon to Xbox and PlayStation. Attendees at WASD in London and PAX East in Boston have already been able to get a first look at the game, and from the positive feedback and enthusiastic reactions there, it's clear that players can't wait to get their hands on the game .

We Were Here Forever: 12 hours of puzzles

According to the developers, We Were Here Forever will be Total Mayhem Games' most impressive game to date. The team behind the title is currently larger than ever and has worked hard to create a We Were Here game that surpasses its predecessors in both graphics and scope. This makes We Were Here Forever both the largest and most graphically advanced game in the series, with a living world full of fine details and over 22 all-new puzzles. Even experienced puzzle solvers can look forward to over 12 hours of fun.

Players will explore previously unknown parts of Castle Rock and, outside of the keep, discover the history of Rockbury, the townspeople and the escape plans of a resistance that has formed against the king. Hope will lead players to an eerie graveyard and let them descend into the dark waters of the foundry. They learn more about past events that have taken place in this mysterious place. While trying to escape from Castle Rock in We Were Here Forever, they might start to believe what they feared all along. Can you ever really escape Castle Rock?

Total Mayhem Games gives players a glimpse into the history of the We Were Here series with a live action video series that tells the backstory of the series and also reveals teasers for the latest installment: We Were Here Forever.

The last two episodes of We Were Here Stories: Chronicles of Castle Rock will be released one day before the game's launch on May 10th. The backstory of the haunted castle in the We Were Here game series is told in six chapters from the point of view of Kees Klokkenmaker, one of his descendants.

To celebrate that We Were Here Forever Coming out next week, Total Mayhem Games has released a launch trailer that includes the first ever footage of the game itself. In this trailer, the Fool's familiar voice guides you through many of the game's scenes. These already give a good insight into the puzzles that players must solve in order to escape Castle Rock.
