The new installment in the Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare, is coming to PC and consoles on October 25th. The marketing machine is therefore running at full speed. Shortly before the release of Modern Warfare, the fans will be really fired up with the official soundtrack, which is available in digital format in the well-known music stores.
Bombastic graphics need cool music
The soundtrack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare includes a total of 29 songs composed by Sarah Sachter. The musician was already involved in Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare 3. The pieces of music are available in stores and via the well-known music services, including Spotify and Apple Music.

Owners of the version for Playstation 4 also have to install a few more files on their console. This is due to the survival package including the Horde mode, which PS4 players receive exclusively for a whole year. PC gamers and Xbox gamers will only be allowed to play in October of next year. The download of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not small: some players report downloads of over 100 GB - then including all packs. The base game, on the other hand, uses around 60 GB of memory.

Also exciting: Loot boxes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are not an issue. Instead, the makers rely on the now proven Battle Pass system. Rumor has it that Modern Warfare should work with loot boxes, but Activision does approvedthat there will definitely be no loot boxes: "We are introducing a new Battle Pass system, not a loot box system".
This allows players to see what they are buying before buying inGame goodies and additional content. There will be no such thing as a random principle. New content is made available every season, including purely cosmetic items. When exactly the Battle Pass will start is still uncertain, but the feature is not immediately available for publication.
