Ubisoft and Mattel have announced that Eivor will join UNO in the new Valhalla DLC, available worldwide starting today. Inspired by the mythical Viking world of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, UNO players will need to explore the resource board and battle other players in order to win.
"In the UNO Valhalla DLC, only true Vikings can endure anything," says Ubisoft. The board is part of the gameplay for the first time in UNO. Cleverly discarded cards enable players to travel across the board and collect valuable goods to unlock exclusive benefits.
The fact that Ubisoft and Mattel are collaborating on Assassin's Creed Valhalla of all things and expanding the card game with such a themed DLC is hardly a surprise: the Valhalla part is a money printing machine for Ubisoft. The French publisher made over a billion US dollars in sales with the game - and that's a number from February.

At UNO with Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC, thanks to Goods as a new resource, players can engage in card battles with their opponents to slow them down, or unlock the Longboat passive effect to discard multiple cards at once. While exploring, players may also encounter random events that alter the course of the game. For example, Glory Regained, where charges are taken to match the player with the highest charge, as well as Raid, where one player steals two charges from the target player. The brand new Eivor's Raven Map, allowing players to travel to their desired area and claim their rightful rewards, is also introduced with this DLC.
The Valhalla DLC is now available individually for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC exclusively on the Ubisoft Store and Stadia. The Valhalla DLC will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S be playable through backwards compatibility.
