Riot Games has released a video for the biggest addition to Valorant in its next update - the Map Lotus. The trailer gives players a first look at the maps, which are set in India. The map will be available in update 6.00, which is scheduled to be rolled out on January 10th. At the same time, Season 6: Act 1 will start at Valorant.
Lotus: Map with three main areas
The trailer shows three main areas to fight for the new Valorant map Lotus. So this is similar to Haven. Lotus will be the ninth map added to Valorant since its release in 2020. The update also includes bug fixes, including the issue of Killjoy's lockdown ability not taking damage from other abilities.
Riot Games has been quite active in updating the shooter lately. The game recently made headlines because it is now available with unlocked content on PC Game Pass alongside League of Legends and Legends of Runeterra.
Valorant is a free-to-play game and is available on PC. So far there are no console versions, but rumors that corresponding developments are underway.
