The wait is over: Street Fighter 6 is out on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, bringing Capcom's legendary fighting game series back to the streets. There are now many reviews of Street Fighter 6 - and quite a few of them give top ratings.
Street Fighter 6 represents the next evolution of the Street Fighter series with a combination of unique fighting game innovations and content spanning three brand new game modes - Fighting Ground, World Tour and Battle Hub.
Street Fighter 6 gets top ratings
To celebrate the launch, Capcom made two new announcements: Buckler's Boot Camp, the Street Fighter 6 companion site, is packed with features to make the game even more enjoyable. Players can view their own and their opponents' statistics, rankings and club memberships.
It is also possible to look up a list of commands for each character's movement, browse their costumes and get useful in-game tips directly from the Street Fighter team. Information about in-game events, rewards, and other updates can also be found there. And when players need a break from fighting, they can play the new mini-game called Pockest and train cute pixel art characters to evolve into Capcom battle characters.

Capcom is also working with Onitsuka Tiger to provide four free in-game items - two t-shirts and two pairs of sneakers - for the custom avatars. In order to receive these items, players must go to the Battle Hub and check their messages there to receive the free items before July 3rd
Players can also look forward to new free and premium rewards available through Fighting Pass. Each month there will be new ways to customize avatars and player profiles with more fun and exciting avatar items, emotes, music tracks, stickers, titles, in-game backgrounds, photo frames, and on top of that various classic Capcom arcade games in Battle to play hub. More details on this will be announced soon.
There is also a bonus for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition players with the Street Fighter RVN6ACK campaign. The publisher invites to create a CAPCOM ID and link the platform to get Super Street Fighter II Turbo in the Battle Hub.
By combining the main game modes of Fighting Ground, the brand new single player mode World Tour, the community focused Battle Hub mode, the improved graphics, the new control types, the 18 different characters to master and the very first real time -Commentary feature, Street Fighter 6 once again redefines the classic fighting game genre and offers an outstanding fighting game experience.

As if that wasn't already good news for fans of the beating series, several critics awarded the absolute highest ratings on the scales of the respective portals. VGC, Screen Rant or Comicbook.com are among those games websites that have given out 100 ratings – and are therefore definitely platforms that should be taken seriously. Of the 74 reviews of Street Fighter 6 that have been submitted so far, 73 have been positive. Only in one case is the result mixed with 70 points, whereby the corresponding website itself describes the game as "very good" and awards a bronze award.
The game is also mostly well received by the fans. The fact that the user score is only 7.1 on Metacritic is due to the well-known review bombing problem. Multiple users voted with the lowest ratings and even assigned zeros. The reason is, among other things, the "World Tour", which is sometimes described as "boring". The contrast to this is formed by the many top ratings from the fans.
