The French hardware manufacturer Thrustmaster officially presented its new T128 entry-level steering wheel at the Paris Motor Show. The T128 is available in two different variants: one for Xbox consoles (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One), which is available now and one for PlayStation systems (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4), which will be available on October 27th in trade comes. Both variants are also compatible with the PC.
The T128 features the same next-generation HYBRID DRIVE technology as its big brother, the T248. It uses a combined belt and gear mechanism for force feedback performance that is 20% stronger than Thrustmaster's previous T150 and TMX racing wheels. Featuring realistic force feedback, a 4-color LED engine speed indicator, and high-precision magnetic technology paddle shifters and pedals, the T128 delivers unbeatable performance. When entering the world of sim racing, the T128 makes all the difference.
Thrustmaster T128: racing feeling at a lower price
Specially designed to promote your own racing skills, the T128 is available in two different versions: an officially licensed version for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and another officially licensed version for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Both versions are also compatible with the PC compatible and offer users opportunities to hone their skills even further.
The T128 packs a wealth of Thrustmasters technologies into an affordable and versatile racing wheel that doesn't compromise on performance and offers new drivers a truly immersive driving experience. The T128 stands out from the Thrustmaster T248 and TMX racing wheels with its innovative hybrid drive system, which was used for the first time in the T150, and offers 20 percent more power.
All characteristics of the race track can be perceived even more intensively thanks to the feedback transmitted via the steering wheel: bumps and bumps, speed effects, road surface conditions, loss of tire grip and much more. The equally exciting and realistic feedback helps players to optimize their driving lines. Curves can be mastered better, which has a positive effect on your own racing skills.
Because any added weight will affect performance, the T128's steering wheel rim is extremely light. In this way, users benefit as best as possible from the powerful force feedback and can react accordingly in every situation.
Hall effect sensor technology
Built into two key gameplay elements, this HEART magnet technology is designed to enhance driving precision across all games. Dead zones are eliminated and a possible reduction in precision over time is prevented thanks to the certified frictionless system. The T128's magnetic paddle shifters enable lightning-fast shifts with clear and precise actuation (30 millisecond response time) for competitive performance and to avoid driving errors. This contactless magnet technology also extends the life of the paddle shifters, whose sound design has also been revised for more unobtrusive operation.

The T2PM pedal set with two pedals is also equipped with the same magnet technology and enables quick acceleration and well-dosed braking.
In the upper central area of the steering wheel is a four-color LED light bar that displays the vehicle's engine speed in real time, transmitted directly from the game via telemetry. The LEDs will flash when it's time to shift into a higher gear. These prominent LEDs allow players to monitor engine RPM to optimize shifts without having to take their eyes off the road, which is a huge advantage.
The perfectly rounded steering wheel rim automatically adjusts its angle of rotation between 270 and 900 degrees according to the type of vehicle used in the game, allowing for driving adapted to all vehicle styles (GT, Rally, F1, Trucks, etc.). The comprehensive control surface with 13 action buttons eliminates the need for a gamepad - even for navigating the game menus.
The Xbox/PC version of the T128 includes a free one-month subscription to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service[3]. Users can play dozens of popular racing and sim racing games compatible with the T128 on Xbox and PC for free to start enjoying a truly immersive driving experience right away.
Officially recognized as a next generation racing wheel developed and designed for the latest gaming consoles, the T128 is available in two different versions:
- Officially licensed for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and compatible with PC
- Officially licensed for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and compatible with PC
The T128 (racing wheel and pedal set) is now available with an RRP of 199,99 euros, since the Xbox version has gone on sale. Playstation owners can already pre-order the new steering wheel, and the accessory will be available from October 27th.
