In July 2022, Nacon announced a brand new open-world game in the Terminator universe. Now the developer has announced that the game will go into early access later this year under the title "Terminator: Survivors". The title will then begin its testing phase on Steam on October 24, 2024. A release for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles is planned for a later date.

Not much is known about the game yet. What is clear, however, is that it has both a single and co-op mode. The game is also said to be a mixture of survival and open world. As a player, you take on the role of a survivor and have to face the numerous challenges that the game world has to offer. Things like collecting resources or eliminating enemies will be part of the gameplay.
You start the whole game on "Judgment Day" - four years after humanity almost perished. Enemies, who are waiting for you in the form of "Skynet's machines", will try to kill you and your comrades. However, since this is a real survival game, you are of course equipped with weapons that will soon put an end to these robot-like creatures.
As part of their announcement, Nacon also released a little treat in the form of a CG trailer. It lasts just over a minute and is particularly impressive with its good atmosphere and post-apocalyptic mood:

However, since this is not a gameplay trailer, it should be taken with a grain of salt. It remains to be seen whether Nacon will provide fans of the Terminator franchise with any further news about the game in the six months leading up to the release of the Early Access version. Playstation and Xbox players in particular would be happy to receive additional information about a possible release on their consoles.
