Publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games, in partnership with Nickelodeon, are pleased to announce Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge in a fight against the Foot Clan coming June 16 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Game Pass.

A brand new trailer was unveiled on the Summer Game Fest stage, showcasing the highly anticipated spirited Turtles ally “Casey Jones” as a playable character who will join them in cleaning up the streets of New York City. Casey's balance of range, speed, and power makes him a formidable all-around threat as he swings gracefully and powerfully through flanks of Foot Clan soldiers with his signature hockey stick. Casey Jones is an unlockable character.

With six player mode!

The announcement also includes the first look at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge's 6-player multiplayer mode. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge scales the size of enemy groups based on the number of players beating each other up and down. This turns the six-player multiplayer mode into an absolutely intense showdown against Shredder's terrible minions. Gathering friends on a couch isn't the only way to play together though - online multiplayer for 2-6 players has been confirmed, with heroes being able to join and leave the game at any time.

“Dotemu and Tribute Games' childhood dream that eventually became TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is almost 30 years old - and in just a few days, we invite fans to experience the TMNT beat 'em up legacy rolled into one completely new game," explains Cyrille Imbert, CEO of Dotemu. "It all feels really surreal."

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge fuses elements of classic animation, games and toys in the ultimate celebration of beloved heroes," said Tribute Games co-founder Jean-Francois Major. "This game is both a tribute to an incredible era of TMNT and the spectacular community that has kept this phase of the series alive through their love for the classic TMNT."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge brings together the work of two retro pros. On the other hand, Tribute Games, the studio behind original IPs with a retro feel, like Panzer Paladin, Flinthook and Mercenary Kings, which combine the spirit of classic games with a new feel. The Tribute Games ranks also include key talent, having contributed to games like the acclaimed Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, and 2007's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the Gameboy Advance.
