Publisher Raw Fury, along with developer Stitch Heads, today announced that the all-action superhero role-playing game Superfuse is coming to Early Access on January 31, 2023.
Alongside the reveal of the Superfuse release date, there's a brand new gameplay trailer showcasing two of the playable characters, known as Enforcers - the brutal Berserker and the almighty Elementalist. Additionally, a fraction of the game's unique skill tree system is introduced - the Fuses.
Online multiplayer and solo mode
Set in a future where humanity has left a dying Earth and established colonies across the solar system, Superfuse is a bold and ambitious comic-book style ARPG. It features dynamic skill trees that allow players to choose a class and boost abilities to customize their enforcer, as well as find tons of loot to equip in procedurally generated levels.
In Superfuse, players choose their class and apply fuses to their powers to create a variety of unique abilities. Remap and vary your powers as often as you like to face powerful bosses with maximum efficiency. They then tweak their unique, perfect superhero with powerful weapons, hi-tech armor, and boosters. You can collect hundreds of different types of loot types with random stats to make your hero even more powerful, or trade or sell them to earn credits for certain items.
Players create a superhero for four-player online PvE drop-in/out co-op. They create their ideal super team by “mixing and matching” classes. However, campaigns can also be played offline in single player mode. There will be fully voiced, story-driven campaigns. Player characters and NPCs are brought to life through the voices of talented actors including the award-winning Eli Harris.
Exciting: You will be able to play both procedural and self-created levels - you will never fight down the same path twice, because the levels are designed anew with each game.
The trailer gives players a little taste of the sheer depth and complexity that will allow them to create and customize their character in-game to an amazing degree.
