Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order could continue. At least if the developers at Respawn Entertainment have their way. They were open to Gamesradar for a successor. Little speaks against it. According to Electronic Arts, the game has sold extremely well and was also well received by critics and gamers.

With the Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order sales were Electronic Arts, Lucasfilm and Respawn Entertainment satisfied. Reason enough to at least speculate about a successor. The developers would definitely like to implement such a project, they told the magazine Gamesradar.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order could continue

Respawn Entertainment is open to a successor Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. Charlie Houser, head of brand strategy, uses the players' reactions as an opportunity to lay the foundation for a possible successor to the action-adventure game.

He told Gamesradar, "We had a lot of fun making Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. For the new team that came together at Respawn, it was a learning experience to implement. Based on player reactions and feedback, we would like to continue to develop the amazing experiences and stories and continue to tell that story in Star Wars.”

The foundation for a successor has long been laid: good sales figures and good reviews confirm that the Jedi adventure is a great success just two weeks after its release. Based on this, the development of a Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order 2 is almost certain. In the initially rather messed up - but still successful - Star Wars: Battlefront needed significantly little praise from critics and gamers to motivate Electronic Arts to develop a successor. The upcoming Christmas season will probably also provide further impetus, especially if sales develop positively in leaps and bounds.

Fans should definitely like the idea: With a comparatively short playing time of around 20 hours, the Jedi adventure was over quickly. Replenishment is welcome.
That didn't detract from the quality of the game: im Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order review The title showed itself to be playful and largely also technically at its best.
