The term “first-person shooter” is often associated with detailed and action-packed video games that usually take place in a realistic setting. However, the developers of this indie game have a slightly different idea. Stuffed is the first and so far only game from Waving Bear Studios and was recently released on Steam, more precisely on December 9th, and is currently still in an early access version. You play the game from the perspective of a stuffed teddy bear and try to protect its owner from his “nightmares” - and with weapons!
Single player or with friends in co-op matchmaking?
The game basically offers two relevant game modes (leaving private lobbies aside). Except for the number of players, the two modes are almost identical. In single and multiplayer you try to withstand the increasingly strong “waves” of opponents. And these opponents? Well, they don't come with guns, but as cuddly stuffed animals and funny toys. The mission: withstand their attacks while defending its owner's bedroom.
By completing rounds you gain experience points, which you can then use, for example: B. can unlock new, fun maps. But tons of (weapon) skins can also be earned over the course of the game. These differ not only in their appearance, but also in terms of rate of fire, damage and range. This means that every weapon fetishist has the right tool. Ultimately, it's up to the player to find the weapon that's right for them.
The player has a total of three server regions to choose from for the multiplayer mode (Europe, America, Asia). These can be selected and adjusted as desired in the settings. However, matchmaking is still a bit difficult at the moment because there are only a few players on the servers due to the recent release. However, if you get three of your friends together, nothing stands in the way of having fun in co-op PvE.

The game is currently available on Steam for €10,37 and, according to the developers, numerous updates regarding balancing, content and “quality of life changes” are already pending. These will be implemented gradually over the next year. You can expect new weapons, skins or even gameplay events. The community should also be involved in the development process via social media, such as Discord or Steam.
