Starting today, Stranded: Alien Dawn Early Access players can unlock the ability to tame, train, and breed animals as part of the brand new Tame and Train update. The new mechanics come along with three breeds of dogs: the Great Dane, the Boxer, and the Weimaraner.

By taming and training the many animals that roam near the crash sites, aspiring survivors can take their base to the next level. Thanks to the animals, players will get additional resources and the opportunity to train wild animals in battle. In addition, the survivors sometimes also get happiness and relaxation boosts from the new companions.

Taming wild animals as a new feature

In addition to taming animals, players can also add a new survivor, Hugo Delano, to their party. With his experience as a former zoo keeper and adept farming skills, he is an excellent choice for any thriving base.

Ambitious survival players can look forward to further updates and improvements during the Early Access phase, which will provide a lot of exciting content.

Stranded: Alien Dawn is available now in Early Access on PC via Steam for $29,99.
