Paradox Interactive has today Toxoids released, a Species Pack for Stellaris: Console Edition and the first of three expansions that will be released as part of the game's sixth expansion pass. Console gamers can risk the future of their planet to gain an advantage in the galaxy with this resilient industrial species.
In 2024, two more expansions, Galactic Paragons and First Contact, will be released in Expansion Pass 6, available for 29,99 euros. Toxoids is available as a standalone version for 9,99 euros.
Expansion Pass 6 for Xbox and Playstation
Toxoids introduces a race that is risky, rewarding, inventive, ruthless and repulsive all at the same time. With dripping origins, slimy state elements and crude cosmetic options, Stellaris: Console Editions players can get their hands dirty and make their way through the galaxy with this concentrated load of content.
The Toxoids Species Pack contains:
- New Origins: Players delve into the depths of their corrupt world and search for the true power of their species. Are the rumors about the poison god true?
- New civics: Everything is a resource for immediate growth, from rubble and destruction to your own population. The Poison Baths allow the player to increase their population through mutagenic mud, but at what cost? Collect rubble to build your projects with the Scavengers or improve your efficiency by ignoring the rules and regulations of the Relentless Industrialists.
- New properties: The gamer species has evolved in such a way that it thrives on infamy. The unique traits Poisonous, Inorganic Breath, and Exotic Metabolism are repulsive to other species, but are also the source of their power and wealth.
- New cosmetic options: The Toxoids Species Pack includes new ships, species portraits and cityscapes to remind the galaxy that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A new Toxoids Advisor voice delivers news and advice dripping with wicked sarcasm.
The free update released together with Toxoids Stellaris-Custodians Teams brings a variety of improvements and additions for all players.
