After PC players from Stardew Valley received the new 1.4 update at the end of November, console owners can now get started and download the patch for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. If you play Stardew Valley on mobile devices, you have to be patient until January. Then patch 1.4 will appear for Android and iOS.

Stardew Valley fans have already been waiting for the extensive patch 1.4. In addition to a lot of bug fixes, players are particularly happy about a variety of new content and features, including the fish ponds. The full Patch Notes for Update 1.4 from Stardew Valley have been published.

Stardew Valley: Console gamers also go fishing

Anyone who plays Stardew Valley on the PC has been able to spend time at the new fish pond since the end of November. Now console players can also get involved: Update 1.4 for Stardew Valley is for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One available for download. Developer Eric Barone announced this via Twitter:

The Stardew Valley 1.4 update is now available on Switch & PS4, and should be coming to Xbox in the next couple of hours. I hope you enjoy it and happy holidays everyone!

- ConcernedApe (@ConcernedApe) 17 December 2019

The contents of the console update largely correspond to the contents of the PC update. There are several new features, including the fish ponds, where players can farm their own fish. In this way, fans have a completely new source of income.

Patch 1.4 also brings a new map to Stardew Valley: Four Corners. Cooperative players in particular benefit from this. In addition, the new patch comes with a large number of improvements, optimizations and bug fixes. The new content includes new hairstyles, over 60 new items, an emote menu and new events. In addition, 14 new pieces of music find their way into the game.

If you don't know the Stardew Valley, which was released in 2016, you can gain some impressions of the sandbox game from the launch trailer:

Anyone who plays Stardew Valley on a tablet or smartphone has to be patient, by the way. Patch 1.4 appears. also for mobile devices, according to statements by Eric Barone on Twitter, however, probably not until January 2020.

Stardew Valley has developed into a small phenomenon: The sandbox game is available for current-gen consoles, PC and mobile devices, among other things.
