The trading card game Star Wars Unlimited has started successfully. The first tournaments are now taking place in local game stores or even organized privately. In order to keep up with constructed formats, you need a powerful deck. This must be the case with Star Wars Unlimited not be expensive. We show you various top decks for under 50 euros - this time one about the leader Sabine Wren.
A Darth Vader, Boba Fett or Luke Skywalker cost 25, 40 or even 60 euros in the standard versions. So, shortly after the launch, Star Wars Unlimited also had some non-showcase cards from the first set "The Spark of Rebellion", some of which cost more than 100 euros. Such rare or even legendary cards are good, but they also have to fit the deck. By no means all of the currently best decks in Star Wars Unlimited rely on expensive cards. There are also some card combinations from the budget range that can easily win competitive games.
Sabine Wren with command aspect

Sabine Wren as a leader, played with a green base, often ends up on the table when it comes to inexpensive decks in Star Wars Unlimited. This deck is now more than an insider tip. "Sabine Wren - A Touch of Green" is one of Star Wars Unlimited currently one of the best aggro decks and one of the best combinations overall. The slightly modified budget version is also impressive: the deck is powerful, but completely dispenses with legendary cards.
The idea of the deck is simple: full attack on the opponent's base. Basically, units on the opponent's side are ignored and only occasionally attacked. The opponent's most efficient attackers should be eliminated - if possible - in order to set up your own game.
Basically, however, it's about causing as much damage as possible to the base as early as possible. The budget deck "Sabine Wren - A Touch of Green" succeeds in doing this mainly because of its low cost structure: only a few cards cost more than three resources. This means you can make the most of your resources early in the game. You should get the Battlefield Marine and Sabine Wren - Explosive Artist on the table at the start, then the A-Wing to attack the opponent from space. "For a Cause I believe in" and the "Guerilla Attack Pod" are in the deck as counters.
The epic action of the “Energy Conversion Lab” should be saved for the Steadfast Battalion. The combination is particularly strong when Sabine Wren is on the battlefield. This means that even strong enemy units can be quickly shot off the table.
“Sabine Wren – Touch of Green” is a cost-effective variant of the standard aggro deck based on Sabine Wren, primarily because it does not include K-2SO and Red Three. This reduces the cost by around 60 euros.
Anyone who is happy with the deck and wants to build on the aggro concept can easily upgrade it. In this case, General Dodonna would be removed from the deck for three K-2SOs, and the Disabling Fang Fighter would be replaced in the more expensive version for Red Three.
The sideboard for “Sabine Wren – Touch of Green”
- 1 x Heroic Sacrifice
- 2 x Academy Training
- 2 x Wolffe – Suspicious Veteran
- 3 x Bright Hope – The Last Transport
- 2 x U-Wing Reinforcement
