For the miniatures board game Star Wars: Legion, Fantasy Flight Games has announced two expansion packs: the limited Commander Skywalker Commander Expansion and the Darth Maul Operational Expansion including Sith Probe Droids. The last one will be available from November 2nd, according to FFG the Skywalker pack will be available in stores “soon”, then in a limited edition.
About two iconic characters Star Wars: Legion expanded. Commander Skywalker and Darth Maul will be coming into the game shortly, as usual each with individual abilities that correspond to the characters from the film. Darth Maul, for example, is an aggressive fighter who can deal enormous damage on the battlefield.
Darth Maul is a "potent lightsaber fighter"
Darth Maul is a tool of destruction among the characters of Star Wars: Legion. Fantasy Flight Games explains: "He rolls eight attack dice and has the potential to take down an experienced enemy commander - or an entire unit of soldiers - with a single attack." But it's not that simple: half of the dice are inaccurate white ones that force Maul to place on targets to ensure his strikes deal the maximum amount of damage.
In addition, the Sith can slip behind enemy lines to wreak havoc and indirectly control the behavior and movement of enemies. As an alternative, the Sith has its test droids at its disposal, which, for example, can unleash suppressive fire on the enemy.
Commander Luke Skywalker will also prove to be useful on the battlefield, of course in a stylish orange pilot outfit. The limited Commander expansion includes a miniature that can be equipped with either a lightsaber or a blaster. The attached pilot's helmet is also a design option that can be used, but does not have to be. The expansion basically contains a unit that is identical to the rebel version of Luke Skywalker from the basic box, but has been refurbished optically.
The miniature board game Star Wars: Legion originally comes from Fantasy Flight Games and has been expanded to include a variety of content since its release. In this country, the German-language version is available from Asmodee Germany sales.
