Star Wars: Legion, the miniatures game from Fantasy Flight Games, is getting a new addition. This time it's the Chosen One himself who's coming to the game in the next Commander expansion: Anakin Skywalker. In his very special way, he brought balance to power - and in the process determined the story of the saga as a central element. Now Anakin Skywalker takes command of the armies of the Galactic Republic. The expansion will be released on November 20th.
Time for a cheeky, impetuous Jedi to take command of the troop, Fantasy Flight Games probably thought and is knitting the next Commander expansion around Anakin Skywalker, the chosen one who was just annoying as a child. At the latest with a helmet and armor it was bearable, but in the miniature game Star Wars: Legion fans fall back on one of the Jedi versions - and are thus at the forefront of the clone troops.
Anakin Skywalker as a powerful lightsaber fighter
Anyone who has assembled the miniature, perhaps even painted it, can plunge into battle with the Jedi leader. Optionally, Anakin holds his lightsaber with one hand and gives his interventions strength through the two-handed position. Fans receive three skill cards (as well as six upgrade cards) in addition to the character card - and to show their weakness for the dark side of the force, another card is included that is supposed to depict this.
Anakin Skywalker has a central role as a force user, agility is - like with other Jedi - one of his tactical advantages. Additionally, Skywalker can deal guaranteed damage if paid for with a dodge token. From his biography in the Star Wars universe, there is a direct and currently unique trick for the miniatures game Star Wars: Legion: he can use anger as a character of the light side, which can then lead to the stubborn no longer taking orders . Otherwise, the impetuous Jedi can amplify the power of his lightsaber attacks or provide protection to his commanded troops.
