Rebellion has released a new gameplay trailer for Sniper Elite 5, focusing on one of the series' most popular features: the Kill Cam. Among many other improvements, for the first time in series history, the kill cam can now be triggered on highly accurate SMG and pistol hits, as well as rifle eliminations and takedowns.
Sniper Elite 5 will be released simultaneously on May 26, 2022 on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4 & 5, as well as PC via Steam and Windows Store. The title features a campaign playable in both single-player and two-player co-op modes, and competitive multiplayer for up to 16 players.
Sniper Elite 5: Kill Cam is back
Both the physics and visuals of Sniper Elite 5's Kill Cam have been improved. Bullets can now ricochet off bones, causing even more internal destruction. This is shown to the player in more detail thanks to the improved visual representation of the characters, including better definition of the skeleton, muscles, organs and tendons.
The first introduction of sights, for both SMGs and pistols, provides increased accuracy when using these weapons. In addition, both now also trigger the kill cam to stage kills with surgical precision. Players can also operate the Kill Cam themselves in real time. The tracking shot can now be accelerated or slowed down and the camera angle can also be adjusted. The frequency with which the Kill Cam is triggered can be adjusted in the game menu. There is also an option to disable the feature.
The weapons in Sniper Elite 5 have been faithfully reproduced from their real-life counterparts for maximum authenticity. Players can now customize their arsenal by discovering hidden workbenches throughout the missions. New customization options open up with each workbench found. This allows players to customize their loadout to suit their individual playstyle and objective.

Pre-orders will also receive an additional mission from the highly acclaimed Target Guide campaign entitled Wolf Mountain. A deluxe edition is also available. This also includes the Season Pass One and the P.1938 Suppressed Pistol.
