Rebellion, one of the world's most successful independent video game developers and publishers, today releases Death From Above, the latest content pack for Sniper Elite 2 Season Pass 5. The free no-cross multiplayer map, The Dam, is also out today. Death From Above delivers the all-new Pederson rifle, as well as a British Dazzle skin for all weapons, a British Bomber skin for Karl, and an Air Auxiliary skin for Monika.
The Pedersen rifle was proposed as part of a program to introduce a semi-automatic replacement for the M1903. It doesn't offer any scope options, but is arguably best in class for use with a sight and is capable of firing fast and accurate shots at medium range. It offers high overall stability. Players will also receive the distinctive British Dazzle weapon skin for all weapons.
Homage to the "Dazzle Camouflage" design
This is a homage to the "dazzle camouflage" design used on British tanks during the desert campaigns. In addition, both Karl and Monika will receive new character skins. The British Bomber skin for Karl gives him a distinct aviator look, while the Air Auxiliary skin for Monika reflects the uniforms of the women's air corps, tasked with transporting new or repaired aircraft to active military airfields across the UK.

Additionally, as part of the recent title update, all players will receive a new, free, no-cross multiplayer map called The Dam. It takes players to the remains of a dam that was partially destroyed by Allied bombing. A river and ruined bridges divide the two sides of the map, with one side offering ample cover and sniper positions thanks to a tangle of pipes and industrial metal railings. Opposing players can use the higher, more natural terrain to their advantage.
