SBK 22 returns: motorcycle racing on PC and consoles

Milestone and Dorna WSBK Organization are proud to announce a new chapter for one of the most iconic and beloved franchises in racing games, SBK 22. SBK 22 will be released on September 15, 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.

Ten years after the last release of SBK Generations, the tenth game in the successful Milestone series that debuted with 1999's Superbike World Championship, SBK 22 brings the authentic world of the SBK Championship back to screens. The game recreates the racing feeling of the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship thanks to the charm of the simulation-like gameplay and the lifelike environments, riders and bikes, finally making the dream of the community and motorcycling fans a reality. SBK 22 includes the official 2022 WorldSBK Championship, an immersive and immersive Career mode, and a true SBK weekend of Practice, Superpoles and Races.

Racing action from the official 2022 WorldSBK Championship is perfectly recreated in SBK 22, including the events calendar, official rider roster and realistic team pit environments with photorealistic effects and lifelike animated character models. From managing the staff to building an advanced setup, players have full control over the bikes settings and the development process. Personnel management must not be neglected either, because a wide variety of specialist areas from personnel managers to chief engineers must be covered, of course without forgetting the essential data analysts. The development process is broken down into different areas, each of which requires a certain number of research points to unlock. These points can either be earned passively by engineers or actively by players by completing certain tasks during race weekends. SBK 22 also offers improved realistic features such as a wide choice of Pirelli tires for dry and wet tracks and fuel management to optimize the bike's weight.

The revolutionary AI system ANNA, based on neural networks and machine learning, guarantees a customized gaming experience by controlling opponents depending on their real personalities and improving them by collecting data and experience. At the highest skill level, the driving behavior of the AI ​​​​reflects human abilities exactly.

SBK 22 is also designed for epic multiplayer races with up to 12 players who can compete in online lobbies. The multiplayer mode can also be customized.
