Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games have announced Remnant II, the sequel to the best-selling Remnant: From the Ashes, a third-person action-survival shooter that pits the remnants of humanity against the forces of evil. Remnant II advances the co-op survival shooter with new, never-before-seen worlds filled with deadly surprises and encounters.
In Remnant II, players delve deep into a devastated world. As a lone wolf or in a team of three, you will master scary challenges against exciting enemies and bosses. Each time players start a new run of Remnant II, they are transported to a new world made up of a vast pool of locations, enemies, NPCs, bosses, and weapons. These dynamically built levels allow for unique experiences as elements are organically woven into the world and narrative.
Dangers in a dynamically generated world
Now it's time to join the fight to save humanity in a dynamically generated world. Branching quest lines and unique loot encourage exploration and increase replay value, either alone or in three-person co-op. Players define their own playstyle with an expanded archetype class system and a wide range of weapons, armor, and special augmentations as they overcome hard-fought challenges to delay humanity's extinction.

An updated archetype system gives players more flexibility for their playstyle and allows groups to better sync unique passive abilities and awesome powers in co-op play. Multiple archetypes can be unlocked, upgraded, and equipped together for a greater variety of playstyles.
