Because this time it is a complete remake of Star Wars: The Old Republic, the task should be much more challenging. At the same time, the expectations of the fans are higher.
Aspyr has gained experience with Star Wars games, so the new edition of the Bioware classic should succeed. The game will initially be released for Playstation 5. That at least suggests that the remake could also be technically up-to-date. In the Reveal trailer, however, you don't see any of this: Revan can be seen, of course. After all, he's one of the fans' favorite characters. Otherwise, fans will have to be content with stingy information, at least for the time being.
Just the fact that a remake of Star Wars: The Old Republic is finally being plowed is the real sensation. Some had already given up hope after many unconfirmed rumors. Now it is official - and the joy is great.
Bei Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic handelt es sich nicht bloß um einen Rollenspielklassiker, sondern um eines der besten Rollenspiele aller Zeiten – und das beste aller Star Wars-Spiele ist es ebenso. Die Handlung findet dabei lange vor den Ereignisse von „Die dunkle Brdrohung“ statt. Star Wars – KotOR hatte damit seiner seinerzeit storytechnisch eine große Lücke geschlossen.
