Ubisoft announced that starting April 26th, and then ending on Main 17th, the new Rengoku limited-time event will take place in Rainbow Six Siege. Rengoku introduces a new Control Zone game mode with unique Kiba gear and fast respawn, making for a fast-paced and action-packed event.

Set in Japan, the Rengoku event unveils a temple in the sky and a fight for eternity. The Operators are spirit-possessed samurai warriors fighting for the honor of the gods on a revamped skyscraper map.

Gain control of altars

In order to capture control points, or steal control points from the opposing team, in 5v5 control mode, players must remain unopposed near altars for five seconds. The first team to reach 300 points wins the game. The checkpoints change location every two minutes.

In addition to shotguns and pistols, Operators gain the ability to use an explosive Kiba that takes out enemies with the first hit. Fuze, Osa, Rook, and Thunderbird can choose between a Fire or Poison Kiba, while Twitch, Capitao, Zofia, Kapkan, Bandit, and Maestro can choose a Stun or Knockback Kiba to unleash the ultimate mayhem.

This event brings with it the Rengoku Collection, which includes uniforms, headgear, weapon skins, and operator card portraits for the Rengoku participants. The event also introduces the Fighting Spirit Pack, which includes a signature weapon skin, a universal attachment skin, a charm, and a background. The Rengoku Collection Packs can be acquired by completing special event challenges or by purchasing 300 R6 Credits or 12.500 Renown per pack. The individual packages can also be purchased directly for 1.680 R6 credits each.
