Ubisoft's tactical first-person shooter Rainbow Six: Siege celebrates Halloween with its community. The time-limited event "Sugar Fright" takes place from the end of October to the beginning of November. A new mode, a new map and spooky doll costumes await players of the Tom Clancy game. The Halloween event is all about: "Trick or Treat!"

It's not the first Halloween event that Rainbow Six: Siege is hosting for its community. Most recently, during the Halloween festival in 2019, they made the event “Doctor's Curse” unsafe. The playable characters were invisible monsters. Different this year! As of today, colorful, disturbing dolls in creepy Halloween outfits are ready to play.

During the Sugar Fright event, Rainbow Six: Siege offers its players a new game mode, Candy War. This takes place on a brand new map and for the first time has a kind of zombie trick, which admittedly could be a bit too bloodless for "Rainbow Six: Siege" veterans. On the contrary, in "Sugar Fright" more colorful smoke is shot than it gets brutal to the point.

Scary dolls with a zombie effect are looking for treats

The players disguised as creepy dolls cannot be killed in "Candy War", but reappear again and again on the screen of the first person shooter after their death. The aim of the mission is to kill enemies and take their candy. The team that was the first to collect 50 of the Treats is considered the glorious winning team. The playable attackers are IQ, Zofia, Nomad, Capitao and Thermite. Frost, Pulse, Ela, Castle and Goyo can be selected as defenders.

If you like Halloween, you will get your money's worth at the "Sugar Fright" event. In the reward packs, players can expect 30 exclusive and creepy items. With these a gruesome costume for the game characters can be put together. With a little luck, the bizarre doll outfits can be recreated by the operators IQ, Zofia, Nomad, Capitao, Thermite, Frost, Pulse, Ela, Castle and Goyo.

Any player who logs into the game during the Rainbow Six: Siege Halloween event will receive one of the Sugar Fright packs as a gift. Players who can't or don't want to face many challenges and the impatient among us can also get the "Sugar Fright" packs as a bundle for 1,680 R6 credits, as a pack for 300 R6 credits or individually for 12.500 reputation points (Renown).

Ubisoft's "Sugar Fright" event begins today October 27th and continues through November 10th. It is available for the PS4, Xbox One and the PC.
