Since the appearance of Final Fantasy in 1987, the role-playing series has stood for spectacular technology, fascinating worlds and gripping stories - praised by players and critics from all over the world. The series' video games have sold over 135 million copies to date.
Square Enix has brought merchandising items onto the market at regular intervals. From the collectible figure to the T-shirt, there was everything that could warm the heart of a Final Fantasy fan: now it's the turn of the wines.
Ifrit Rouge is an easily digestible Burgundy. "Tannin-emphasized and charming" says the official report. Shiva Blanc, on the other hand, is a white wine that is well rounded and refreshing, with traces of fresh peach and blossoms. The question remains whether and when real collectors actually open the limited-edition wine bottles. The bottle labels and packaging are printed with illustrations by Toshiyuki Itahana, who was responsible for the character design in Final Fantasy IX and Mobius Final Fantasy.
