Amazon's Prime Video video streaming service is available worldwide. As Amazon has now confirmed, over 20 new Prime Originals will be produced in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, India, Japan and Mexico - including the series "Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo", based on the autobiographical work of the same name about life by Christiane F.

Most of the new series will not only be available in the production countries, but also for streaming to a global audience on Prime Video worldwide. The new German Prime Original Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo will be part of the extensive catalog. The series is based on Christiane F.'s autobiographical memoir from 1978 and is a modern retelling of the shocking and at the same time gripping story about Christiane F. and her dysfunctional circle of friends in the West Berlin drug milieu of the 70s.

The new German Prime Original series is based on the controversial and autobiographical book of the same name from 1978. The series was adapted for TV by author Annette Hess (Weissensee, Ku'damm 56/59) and her Writer's Room and tells the true story of Christiane F . and her dysfunctional circle of friends, with whom she got caught up in the dark drug scene of West Berlin in the 70s when she was a teenager. The Prime Original series is produced by Oliver Berben (The Verdict - The Truth and Nothing but the Truth, Debt I + II, The Minutes, Parfum, Shadowhunters) and Sopie von Uslar (In the Middle of Germany: NSU, Tannbach - Destiny of a Village) for Constantin Television produces. Philipp Kadelbach (Parfum, SS-GB, Our Mothers, Our Fathers) is in charge of the direction. The shooting for Wir Kinder von Bahnhof Zoo will start in 2019. The series will have an exclusive premiere on Prime Video in Germany and Austria.

The Prime Original is based on the international bestseller of the same name and award-winning novel by the award-winning British author. The Power is produced by Sisters Pictures, executive producers are Jane Featherstone (Broadchurch, The Split, Utopia), Naomi de Pear (The Bisexual, Flowers), Naomi Alderman and Reed Morano (The Handmaid's Tale) also directs. Tim Bricknell (Trust, Taboo) is the producer of the series, which will be shot around the world. The Power is the latest Prime Original drama series from the UK and is premiering worldwide on Prime Video.
La Templanza - Spain. The new Spanish Prime Original tells a dramatic love story set in Mexico, Cuba, London and Spain in the 1860s. The drama series is based on the best seller of the same name by María Dueñas and will be produced by Atresmedia Studios in 2019. The series starts on Prime Video in over 200 countries and territories.

Bandish Bandits - India. The new Indian Prime Original is a romantic musical produced by Still and Still Media Collective. Directed by Anand Tiwari and written by Amritpal Singh Bindra, Bandish Bandits tells the young, dynamic love story of Radhe, an experienced Indian classical singer, and Tamanna, a free-spirited pop star. While Radhe sticks to a centuries-old tradition, Tamanna makes up for her mediocre singing talent with her many years of experience as a stage artist. Although their worlds could hardly be more different, they embark on a journey to self-discovery - and to see whether opposites that attract each other can also adapt and last in the long term. The Last Hour - India. The Indian Prime Original is a thriller and is about supernatural occurrences in a small, picturesque mountain station in the Himalayas. Amit Kumar (Shots in the Monsoon) is responsible for the story and staging of the series. The OSCAR award-winning director Asif Kapadia (Amy) is the executive producer. Production for The Last Hour started in January 2019. The series premieres in over 200 countries and territories worldwide.
Untitled drama-thriller series - India. The Indian investigative thriller doubles as an astute commentary on modern Indian society and politics. The new Prime Original is created by Sudip Sharma (author of NH10 and Udta Punjab) and will be produced by Clean Slate Films from February 2019. The series will be available for streaming in over 200 countries and territories.
Untitled Drama Series - India. From the pen of the author / producer / director Ali Abbas Zafir (Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai), the political drama explores the dark sides of Indian politics with a focus on youth. Where powerful politicians and those who want to become politicians sow chaos and manipulate others to gain control of the country, the ruthless pragmatism contrasts with the frustration and aspirations of India today and the ideals of the country's youth. Production of the series will start in March 2019, and the Prime Original will be available in 200 countries and territories.
Untitled reality series - India. The reality series produced by OML is a kind of comedy-talk-show hybrid in which celebrities try their hand at stand-up comedy for the first time. The show is created and hosted by comedian Sapan Verma, a member of East India Comedy (EIC). Each episode brings together a famous stand-up comedian and a celebrity. Together they explore the celeb's life and talk about situations they found hilarious while the seasoned comedian takes the novice by the hand to write a comedy set for the first time. Comicstaan (Tamil) - India. Comicstaan (Tamil) is a regional language spin-off of the successful Prime Original Comicstaan. The series is created and produced by OML (Comicstaan). The new Prime Original shows the search for the next great stand-up talent from Tamil, in which six participants per week compete in various comedy genres and are judged by the audience and a jury. Experienced, Tamil comedians look after the participants of the various genres. With the help of their mentor, the candidates prepare a set every week and perform in front of a live audience. In the final, the mentors and jurors will also perform live.
El Presidente - Mexico. The new Mexican Prime Original is produced by Oscar winner Pablo Lorainne's production company Fabula (Jackie) and Gaumont (Narcos). El Presidente is a true crime series inspired by the events and real-life characters surrounding the 2015 FIFA Gate corruption scandal. The series follows the scandal from the perspective of the club president of a small Chilean football club, who becomes a key figure in a $150 million bribery conspiracy. El Presidente will begin production next year and the series will premiere exclusively in over 200 countries and territories.
