Pokémon Crimson and Pokémon Crimson, the newest two games in the Pokémon series, will be released on November 18, 2022 Nintendo Switch. Both versions can be pre-ordered for 59,99 euros each from the Nintendo eShop and from participating retailers.
Earlier this evening, the Pokémon Company released a new trailer for the Pokémon Crimson and Pokémon Crimson Tournament Battles on the official YouTube channel. This shows some innovations in terms of combat mechanics. Furthermore, new skills, attacks and Pokémon were announced.
New type of battles in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson
The new trailer first introduces another Pokémon from the Paldea region. This goes by the name of Mopex and has a Dragon/Normal type. In addition, two new attacks were announced. Tail Shedding creates a duplicate of the Active Pokémon, then switches places with another Pokémon on the team. The Tera Burst attack causes an Active Pokémon to take on a new type after Tera Crystallize. As in the predecessors, there are new items in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson that team members can wear. Copy Weed copies an opponent's stat increases and transfers them to the Active Pokémon. Marked die allows for a high number of hits in series attacks such as Bullet Seed.
