The public fair Spiel Doch! will take place for the third time next spring in the Duisburg Landscape Park. 2020. The organizers report that the places for exhibitors are almost fully booked and many well-known publishers are among them Asmodee, Ravensburger, Kosmos, HeidelBär Games or Amigo Games – take part in the event. Game fans can also reserve their tickets now: Advance ticket sales for the game have been running since midnight! 2020.
The idea of the spring fair is well received. After all, this time of the year has so far been little covered by larger events for game enthusiasts. More than 14.000 visitors traveled to the third edition (Report with picture gallery) to Duisburg.
Play! 2020: Limited season tickets available
The game! 2020 is organized by Nostheide-Verlag, which is also responsible for the game magazines "Spielbox" and "Spiel Doch!". The trade fair of the same name on the grounds of the Duisburg Landscape Park North is geared towards families, among other things. Children under the age of ten accompanied by their family or a parent therefore continue to have free admission.
All other players have to buy tickets - these are now available in advance sales. Day tickets can be bought online at a price of four euros; on-site at the box office, the ticket costs one euro more. The limited season tickets are also available in the run-up to the games fair: at a pre-sale price of ten euros. The price on site is twelve euros.
Advance sales are not only worthwhile financially, but also save time for those arriving. Tickets can now be purchased in advance up to March 22, 2020, after which only the box office is open to visitors.
As before, owners of a day ticket or a season ticket receive a one-time ticket from
Toy retailer "Roskothen - The Art of Playing", at "Der Würfelturm / spieldoch.de"
and at the "Spieleburg" when buying a game / item at their exhibition stands two or three euros
Discount. The organizer points out that only one voucher can be redeemed per article. The dealers will also charge a low minimum purchase value.
