Play it: fairs are now held twice a year

The successful board and card game fair Play! According to the organizing Nostheide Verlag, it will take place twice a year from now on. In addition to the original event in the Ruhr area, there will now also be a summer date in the border triangle on Lake Constance from 2023, more precisely on the grounds of the Friedrichshafen exhibition center.

The third edition of the game after all! was able to successfully build on its first two events in Duisburg when it restarted at the new location in Dortmund. Just over 11.200 visitors (2019: 14.000) got their money's worth playing. 

Play it: Industry giants are there

Around 100 exhibitors and brands, including industry giants, small publishers and game designers with their prototypes, had something on offer for everyone. A highlight was again the well-attended gaming area where you could borrow and try out games. In addition to the big top dog Ravensburger, many other industry giants such as Amigo, Piatnik or Game Factory will be represented.

A special highlight will again be the extensive game loan service with expert explainers, which is typical of Spielmachen. In order to make it easier for visitors from nearby Switzerland to get there, there are shuttle buses from the ferry port directly to the fair.

The game! at Lake Constance takes place from June 2nd to 4th. The edition in Dortmund runs as planned from April 28th to 30th, 2023. More information is available online at: spieldoch-messe.com.
