Around a year after the all-in-one VR headset PICO 4 officially went on sale in Germany, the number of games and apps available in the library has more than doubled.
The comfortable, extremely light VR headset impresses with state-of-the-art hardware, a bright 4K+ supervision display and a mixed reality feature that merges reality with the VR environment in color and real time. Just in time for Christmas, the PICO 4 will be available from November 24th as a holiday bundle including three free games “Arizona Sunshine 2”, “Green Hell” and “Warplanes: Battles over the Pacific” starting at EUR 349 (128 GB) or EUR 419 ( 256 GB) available.
Arizona Sunshine 2 will be released on December 7, 2023. The games can be downloaded for free from the library between November 24, 2023 and January 14, 2024 after successfully registering new PICO devices via the PICO VR app. Age restrictions apply in the PICO Store.
Experience virtual worlds with PICO 4
Thanks to the so-called pancake lenses, the PICO 4 weighs only 295g (without headband) and is comfortable even during longer gaming sessions of up to 2,5 hours. It offers a wider field of view of around 105 degrees as well as clear images at a refresh rate of 90 Hertz.
In addition to the mixed reality feature, mixed reality recording is also possible, meaning video recordings can be made in virtual reality and easily shared on social networks using the PICO VR app. Four mono fisheye cameras and a monocular RGB color pass-through camera capture the game environment in real time and color, ensuring a safe and seamless streaming experience that allows you to move freely around the room.
More than 400 games and apps for all ages are currently integrated directly into the PICO VR library, which is constantly being expanded. For even more gaming fun, over 4.000 additional games can be accessed thanks to SteamVR integration. The virtual gaming experience with PICO 4 is rounded off by VR Fitness, the free Immersed productivity apps and video content from live concerts to global sports and arts events.
