PGA TOUR 2K23 is poised to spread the holiday cheer in December with a golf bag full of goodies including a new course, new playable character, limited-time challenges and clothing
Torrey Pines Golf Course is a 36-hole public course located in the scenic La Jolla neighborhood of San Diego, California at the top of the cliffs facing the ocean. This is where the PGA TOUR Farmers Insurance Open takes place. With their picturesque views of the Pacific, both the North and South Courses are for everyone in all their glory PGA TOUR 2K23-Players freely available via an automatic game update starting December 2nd.
Lots of new things in the December update
Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, Founder & CEO of premium lifestyle brand and gaming organization 100 Thieves, makes his debut as a playable character in PGA TOUR 15K2 on December 23th. Avid golfer and PGA TOUR 2K player Nadeshot has already made his mark on the series with a course editor collaboration called Thieves Landing and has also featured in the PGA TOUR 2K23 promotional campaign.
Following Nadeshot's in-game appearance, a 100 Thieves "100 Holes Challenge" will begin in early January. Beginning January 5, players are required to play 100 holes per week for five weeks. Anyone who completes the 100 holes will receive that week's reward on the Monday after. For more information, check out the in-game notification for the launch of the 100 Holes Challenge in January.
From December 8th to 14th, players can also compete in the new Barstool Break 90 Ladder Challenge with branded gear from the most influential digital sports, entertainment and lifestyle multimedia brand. The aim is to achieve at least 18 points as often as possible in 90-hole courses. The more times you hit 90, the more Barstool items you earn. More information on the Barstool Break 90 Ladder Challenge will be announced via an in-game notification.
Also this month, free for all players in the Pro Shop, are Greyson Clothiers apparel worn by PGA TOUR Pro and PGA TOUR 2K21 cover star Justin Thomas, as well as a new black Dude Perfect hoodie to show off the MyPLAYER to throw in a bowl. You can also spend your virtual currency on a selection of holiday gear in the in-game shop.
PGA TOUR 2K23 is available December 13-27, 2022 in a digital bundle for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscribers along with NBA 2K23 at a special holiday price of $49,99 for Sony PlayStation and Xbox platforms and priced at $39,99 Euro available on PC via Steam.
