An immersive thriller awaits players with the new puzzle series 50 Clues, published by Pegasus SpieleThe three independently playable parts of the connected story Sigrid's Search have been released: No Sign of Life, Deeper Down and The Last Journey.
In 50 Clues by Jeppe Norsker and Jakob Bang, one to five players work together to solve a case by obtaining information from cards, combining objects and determining letter and number codes. The game is difficult enough for families, but due to the dark theme, 50 Clues is recommended for ages 16 and up.
A web app can be used to check solutions and request hints if necessary. However, hints and incorrect guesses result in points being deducted! At the end, the app shows the players how well they did.
Solo or in a gaming group
Thematically, 50 Clues - No Sign of Life (Sigrid's Search, Part 1) starts with a mysterious box. Players take on the role of Sigrid, whose sister Gro gave her the "8-day box" with the words: "If you don't hear from me every week, I need help." Gro is an expert in biological warfare in the Danish military, but her current assignment is top secret. After Gro hasn't been in touch for more than a week, players set out to find answers as Sigrid. In 50 Clues - Deeper Down (Part 2) and 50 Clues - The Last Journey (Part 3), players continue their mission to find Gro and stop a global catastrophe.
Whether as a group or solo, with a lot or little playing experience – the 50 Cluesseries offers thriller enthusiasts, amateur investigators and escape room fans tricky puzzles and an exciting story. The atmospheric illustrations by Jeppe Norsker enhance the immersive experience, which lasts around 80 to 100 minutes per part. Since no materials are damaged, the game can be played multiple times.
