The Spielwarenmesse Digital brings the global industry together virtually: the new platform will have an extensive live program available for all participants on the originally planned date of the trade fair from February 2nd to 6th. As announced by the organizers, registrations for dealers and media representatives are now possible.

In addition to various communication tools, the digital toy fair offers retailers a compact overview of trends and innovations. The registration phase for trade visits starts on January 19th.

Opening with award ceremony

That the toy fair will take place as a purely online event, the players recently decided: due to the current corona situation surrounding the Omicron variant, the decision was taken to take this step. For a long time, Spielwarenmesse eG had stuck to the plan of an in-person fair – with a strict hygiene and safety concept as the foundation. In the end it was to be different.

The live phase of Spielwarenmesse Digital will now start with the digital opening on February 2nd with the presentation of the “Toy Award” to the winners, to which all industry participants are invited. The spectrum of topics ranges from current trends in retail and toys to marketing, sustainability and digitization.
