The publishers 612 Games and Golem Entertainment have announced that the multi-award-winning, anime-inspired open-world action game “Galak-Z: The Void: Deluxe Edition” is coming to Nintendo Switch this spring. The expected publication date is currently March 26, 2019.
80s style mecha anime
Galak-Z: The Void: Deluxe Edition is an AI- and physics-controlled action game with an open world character, but should feel like a classic 16-bit space shooter. The title was developed by the indie studio 17-BIT.
The player slips into the role of the renegade pilot A-Tak, who has to protect the earth from an evil alien empire - led by the baron.
With endless gameplay, online leaderboards and daily challenges, players around the world can compete against each other. Galak-Z: The Void: Deluxe Edition allows players to climb into an anime-inspired spaceship and fly through procedurally generated worlds in order to defeat clever opponents with skill and cunning, according to the announcement.
Players have to outmaneuver opponents, be better armed and outsmart opponents with strategic gameplay. To do this, they have to master the controls of their spaceship, eliminate opponents, among other things fire rocket volleys to send their opponents in “mech style” into the explosive abyss.
