Serious Sam blasts the top-down shooter Tormental from Early Access and Full Release: Serious Sam: Tormental is a top-down roguelite 3D shooter in which players navigate the tormented mind of Mental – the demigod of destruction – play as he envisions worlds and monsters that stand in the way of his inner self. 

Originally released on Steam Early Access in 2019 as part of Croteam's Incubator program, the game is now fully remastered and available now. Deep within an abandoned temple lies a cursed artifact, an ancient device capable of the unimaginable; could this be the key to entering the mind of Mental, the god of destruction? This may be "Serios" Sam Stone's only chance to delve deep into the twisted world of Mental's evil imagination, where his quest will lead him to battle ruthless hordes of monsters. New in Serious Sam: Tormental is The Fortress

The full version of Serious Sam: Tormental introduces a new area called The Fortress, which contains new enemies and elite variants, as well as Torments - special runs with preset starting weapons, powers and conditions, each with leaderboards.
