Krafton announces the September update for New State Mobile is available on Android and iOS. New State Mobile's latest 4x4km map, Akinta, is now officially live and available for players to explore.
In addition to Akinta, set in a futuristic African setting, the September update brings a new collaboration with McLaren Automotive, an extension of NEW STATE Labs, a new weapon and more. The New State Mobile update is available now for Android and iOS users.
Akinta: 4 x 4 kilometers
After the success and positive feedback at New State Labs, Akinta is now officially live on New State Mobile! Akinta is designed as a 4x4km map and is set in a near-future African landscape. Up to 64 players can plunge into an action-packed battle royale round in Akinta, which can last up to 15 minutes per match. Players can also take advantage of Maglev, a new travel mechanic that travels through the center of the map.
The new collaboration with McLaren Automotive is in full swing. The British supercar manufacturer is bringing a number of stylish features to New State Mobile, including cosmetic items that players can obtain such as an outfit, helmet, backpack, gloves, hat, sneakers, mask and patch. Additionally, players can participate in an event where they will receive the McLaren 720S car skin for completing the mission objective. Vehicle skin colors include Volcano Yellow, Paris Blue, Royal Purple, Fever Pink, and Black and White.
The New State Labs period has been extended to allow players to continue experimenting with the Akinta: Bounty Royale mode. With the September update, New State Labs is open to all players without requiring an invitation to participate. The September update will also introduce the AK Alfa, a new 7mm weapon. The AK Alfa will be available as a field-drop weapon across the map and can be modified with other attachments such as a scope, foregrip and magazine.
