KRAFTON, Inc. and SQUARE ENIX announce that the popular characters from the NieR series are making their way to NEW STATE MOBILE as part of the latest update to the mobile battle royale game. From April 29th to May 19th, players can experience the essence of the NieR series in NEW STATE MOBILE, with a themed reward event and a collection of new in-game items.
NieR:Automata tells the story of the androids 2B, 9S and A2 and their struggle to reclaim a machine-controlled dystopia overrun by powerful weapons known as machine life-forms. Since the game's initial release in 2017, more than 6 million copies of NieR:Automata have shipped or downloaded worldwide, and the game has been acclaimed by critics around the world for its deep, compelling story and fantastic mix of action-packed and fast-paced combat.

The following is an overview of the content of the collaboration between NEW STATE MOBILE and the NieR series:
- NieR Series Character Skins: The collaboration includes skins of the NieR:Automata characters 2B and 9S, as well as the protagonist and Kaine from NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…. These can be obtained and tried on by players. Additional items such as an emote, armor, weapon and vehicle skins, and more will also be available. All items can be obtained from NieR Series Crates until May 19th.
- NieR Series In-Game Event: There will be an in-game reward event throughout the collaboration. Players who complete the themed missions will receive a NieR Series profile icon, profile border, and border effect that they can use to customize their profile.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is a modern retelling of NieR Replicant, a third-person action gameRPG, originally released in Japan in 2010, and is the highly anticipated prequel to NieR:Automata™, the post-apocalyptic action RPG that has sold/downloaded over 6 million copies worldwide.
