With Tarisland, a new MMORPG for PC and mobile will be released in 2023, with full cross-platform progress (cross-progression). The title takes players to the alien planet of Taris, where different biomes and civilizations await.

Ten game modes offer diverse quests and opportunities to explore all corners of Tari's diverse and enchanting world. Nine classes are available for this purpose, each of which can be individually adapted. Tarisland should do without P2W or excessive grind, instead the developers want to create a fair fantasy world with a sustainable, player-driven economic system.

It is said that at the beginning of the universe there were three original gods: Leith, Acheron and Moira. They were mysteriously connected to the beginning and end of the planet, just with different values and perspectives - until life arose on the planet Taris and triggered the Triangular Conflict. If the threat posed by Acheron cannot be stopped, Taris will fall.

Against this background, players start their adventure. Whatever they see, they can travel in the vast world of Tarisland. Different biomes, environments and civilizations, each with their own culture, provide a rich playground full of different races. A variety of ten game modes offer new quests and ways for players to explore all corners of Tari's diverse and enchanting world.

Tarisland: Three years of development

“Tarisland is a project that our team has been passionate about for the past three years. For some of us, it's a game we've been dreaming of for a decade and want to share with players," said YangMin, producer of Tarisland. "We go back to the core of an MMO and focus on the smallest details and want to refine every inch of gameplay."

Players have nine classes to choose from, each with customization options. This gives them the flexibility to tailor their character to their own preferences and individual playstyles - plus two types of specializations and over 40 talents each. The various equipment sets, free allocation of attribute points and a large selection of costume sets and mounts offer further customization options. Players can perform timely songs to support teammates as a bard, gain special effects with well-aimed sword strikes as a warrior, or unleash all-consuming fire as a mage—the choice is yours.

Once they've customized their character, players join a team and engage in intense, action-packed boss battles in one of the many raids. Combined with clever tactics and the skills of all team members, these challenges can only be overcome. For this they receive rich rewards.

Progression in Tarisland is based on a seasonal system that offers new PvE content and PvP challenges. Players can catch up between seasons, allowing everyone to start the quests together at the start of a season.

Tarisland wants to create a fair gaming environment. For example, items that improve attributes can only be traded and in-game resources can be exchanged directly between players. As a result, a real economic system develops. Cooperation between team members is the key to victory. The same fair approach applies to PvP. Grinding is not necessary for progression and pay-to-win is not part of the game. The developers want to create a fair fantasy world for everyone and enable a sustainable gaming economy.

Adventures can play anytime, anywhere as the PC and mobile versions offer full cross-progression. The PC version also offers a customizable interface. Tarisland will open its doors in 2023.
