Logitech G, a Logitech brand and provider of innovative gaming gear, today introduced the latest versions of the popular G502 gaming mouse. The new G502 X, G502 X Lightspeed and G502 X Plus aim to lay the foundation for an improved gaming experience with several innovative features.

G502 as basis for new model
The improved design of the G502 X builds on the legacy of the G502 by providing the framework for even more advanced gaming technologies and for the first time featuring optical-mechanical Lightforce switches that set new standards in terms of speed and precision. Lightforce is a novel microswitch technology that combines the benefits of an optical switch with the click feel of a mechanical switch. Optical switches boost the speed as well as the performance and reliability of the mouse.
Lightforce uses galvanic contacts within the switch that maintain the click feel of a mechanical switch. The result is exceptional gaming performance based on the harmonious interplay of optical and mechanical elements. The Lightforce hybrid switches convince with reliable performance, extremely low latency and a click feeling that is second to none.
The G502 X features a redesigned reversible and detachable DPI toggle button that adapts to different hand sizes and grip styles. In addition, there is a particularly light scroll wheel that still has the dual endless scroll and precise ratchet modes of the G502, while offering reliable stability. As usual, the mouse can be easily charged via a USB-C cable.

In addition to the features described, the G502 X Lightspeed features an improved Lightspeed wireless protocol that lays the foundation for professional-level wireless connectivity and performance. Enhanced Lightspeed technology also allows gamers to connect two Lightspeed devices to a single receiver using the Device Pairing Tool in the Logitech G Hub. The G502 X-Series also supports the Logitech G Powerplay wireless charging mats, which ensure unlimited battery life without cables.
