Toy giant Hasbro has unveiled the new entry in its lightsaber series, Force FX Elite. This time fans can put Luke Skywalker's gun on the shelf. With a purchase price of around 360 euros, the new saber is also priced at the level of previously available electronic lightsabers.

Hasbro is also touting the new Star Wars: The Black Series Luke Skywalker Force FX Elite as a role-playing item for adults. It is expressly not one of the budget lightsabers available for children. You don't have to brandish the saber: the lightsaber can be presented on the included stand - the blade is removable.
The new Skywalker lightsaber is based on the look of the well-known green Jedi weapon that fans know from films and now series. The combination of LEDs and sound effects make the Luke Skywalker Force FX Elite Lightsaber the "most realistic Force FX lightsaber yet," according to Hasbro.
Hasbro primarily serves collectors with the Force FX series. The toy manufacturer had previously launched, among others, Lightsister by Leia Organa, Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, each in the style of the weapons known from the original. With the FX swords, the priority is to capture the details and design the lightsabers as closely as possible to the originals.
Hasbro limits the order quantity to two swords per customer. Pre-order you can already buy the role-playing weapon – the toy manufacturer expects delivery for March 2023. According to Hasbro, the payment will only be collected as soon as the item is ready for dispatch. It is also an estimated release date, the date may be forward or backward. The pre-order price is 359,99 euros.
