Rashid, the first new character in Street Fighter 6, will bring fast-paced action to the game starting today on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Gaming fans can look forward to meeting Rashid and learning his parkour skills and lightning-fast moves in World Tour, competing against others in Fighting Ground, and using his moveset in Battle Hub's Avatar Battles.
Rashid can be unlocked now, either by purchasing or owning the Street Fighter 6 Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or the Year 1 Character Pass. Rashid can also be purchased individually for 350 Fighter Coins, including his Outfit 1 and his Colors 1 & 2. Players can also try out Rashid for free for one hour with a Rental Fighter Ticket, available in the game's Fighting Pass.

New content and updates being added to the game alongside Rashid's release include:

- Arabian Skyhigh: A new double jump that leaves opponents guessing where Rashid will land from the air.
- Super Rashid Kick: Level 1 Super Art that delivers a devastating kick while floating forward and through the air.
- Ysaar: Formerly Rashid's V-Trigger move in Street Fighter™ V. This level 2 Super Art summons a slow-moving whirlwind projectile that can be used to pressure opponents.
- Altair: Rashid's Level 3 Super Art summons a storm that lifts enemies before raining them down with a monsoon of powerful blows.
