Cologne is getting a new convention! On October 7th and 8th, 2023, HeroesXP Cologne in “Die Halle Tor 2” will be all about cosplay, entertainment, gaming and star guests.
In addition to over 100 exhibitors and cabaret artists, visitors can look forward to celebrities such as the voice actors of Nick Fury (Engelbert von Nordhausen), Spongebob (Santiago Ziesmer), Bugs Bunny (Sven Plate), Hawkmoth (Peter Flechtner), Tokyo from Haus of Money (Esra Vural) and Usopp from One Piece (Dirk Meyer). The voice actors are available to visitors on site for a fee for autographs, photos and voice recordings. Of course, a conversation is also possible free of charge.
Cosplay and nerd stuff
There will be a one-hour stage panel on Saturday and Sunday during which visitors can ask the voice actors questions.
Numerous cosplayers (people in costume) are expected to present their characters, some of them three meters tall. If you want, you can also take part in the cosplay catwalk and show off your costume on stage.
On Saturday evening there will be a spectacular fire show at nightfall followed by a party with the band “Love Rockets”. During their “Day of Heroes” program, the seven-member band plays all the cartoon intro songs in various arrangements. A rock show to remember.
If that's too wild for you, you can make your own magic wand in a workshop, marvel at movie cars like the DeLorean or KITT from Knight Rider, visit the retro area and then play a game of Mario Kart on Nintendos Switch Play game stations.
Tickets are available online at a discount or at the regular price at the box office. Cosplayers, children and families receive a discount on their tickets. There are around 1000 free parking spaces available for visitors on site.
