With the new family game Triqueta, which was recently published by Deep Print Games, players can expect a set collection game from the successful duo Stefan Dorra and Ralf zur Linde. The animal collecting game with a mystical-Celtic theme is exclusively produced by Pegasus Spiele and is currently available in selected specialist retailers.
Finding the right timing is the key to success in Triqueta: In each round, two to five players uncover stones with animal symbols. If you decide at the right time to take a row of stones and thus drop out of the current round, you can secure valuable points. Alternatively, the players can also draw another face-down stone and place it face down in any row in front of them.
Playing time of up to half an hour
But if you hesitate for too long and miss the right moment to take a row and thus get out of the current round, you run the risk of ultimately having to take stones that disturb the balance: at the end of the game, i.e. after four rounds, these score above all Players with exactly three animal stones of a kind - they could form a triqueta. However, if you have collected additional stones from an animal, you receive negative points.
Thanks to an easy start and a short playing time of only around 20 to 30 minutes per game, Triqueta is suitable for families with children from the age of seven and players with little experience as well as for all those who are looking for an entertaining game that can be played immediately invites revenge. The atmospheric animal illustrations by Annika Heller, inspired by Celtic mythology, and the high-quality wooden game pieces complete the gaming experience.
Triqueta is initially available from selected specialist shops and is expected to be available nationwide from May at an RRP of EUR 24,99.
